Products in this group all contain mineral acids and should be treated as such. These products do, however, differ in their degree of acidity – refer to individual product labels and / or data sheets for information on specific safety requirements.
Safe Handling 1 Do not take by mouth. 2 Avoid Inhalation of vapours and perfumes. If spraying, use in accordance with instructions. 3 Avoid eye contact; wear goggles to prevent splashes entering the eyes. First Aid – in the event of: 4 Swallowing – Discourage vomiting, give plenty of water, milk or milk of magnesia to drink and seek medical attention.
5 Exposure to spray vapours – Remove affected person to fresh air. In cases prolonged effect, seek medical attention.
6 Skin contact – Wash thoroughly and treat with hand cream or calamine lotion. Seek medical attention for burns, large area exposure or persistent irritation.
7 Eye contact - Irrigate thoroughly with clean water. Seek immediate medical attention.
8 Splashes on clothing – Remove affected clothing and soak in water. Wash affected area of skin thoroughly.
9 Storage - Ensure that containers are stored in such a position as to minimize the risk of damage. Keep away from alkalis and oxidizing agents.
