Products in this group are mildly alkaline, having Ph values of less than >12. In addition, they may contain surface-active agents and solvents. All are non-flammable.

Safe Handling

1 Do not take by mouth

2 If sprayed ensure adequate ventilation.

3 Avoid prolonged skin contact, as de-fatting, drying and cracking may result.

4 Avoid contact with the eyes.

5 Swallowing - discourage vomiting, give plenty of water or milk to drink and seek medical attention.

6 Exposure to spray vapours - will result in coughing and irritation. Remove affected person to fresh air.

7 Adverse effects from skin contact - wash thoroughly and treat with hand cream.

8 Eye contact - irrigate thoroughly with clean water. Seek medical advice if irritation occurs.

9 Storage - Do not store at extreme temperatures.

10 Spillages - Treat immediately by hosing away with cold water or by absorbing with sand, or granules.
