The Chemex girls recently took part in the 'Race for Life' charity event at Sandwell Valley Park. Giving up their Sunday they covered the 5km course in just over an hour and a half. According to Kirti Patel they ran all the way. Raising over £500 for charity they were sponsored by head office staff and the franchisees.

Comments on the fund raising webpage from one sponsor noted "You would earn more money haunting houses".
